October 10 - Thanks for all your great help registering voters this quarter. We need your help really quickly one more time.

The California voter registration deadline is Monday, October 20th, and there are still hundreds of students that aren't registered to vote.

Come help register your friends and classmates! Tomorrow, Sunday, at 11am, we'll meet in front of Old Union, break up into groups, and head out to knock on doors and encourage students to register. At 1pm, we'll gather at Old Union again to eat pizza and share stories of our success. We hope you can join us!

October 16 - The voter registration deadline is on Monday October 20th, and the Stanford Voter Registration Coalition needs your help to ensure that everyone on campus is registered to vote!

Come to our meeting on Thursday, October 16th at 7:00pm in 200-034. You don't need any previous training or experience - we'll teach you everything you need to know in about 30 minutes. We'll be signing up volunteers for a variety of activities to spread the word about the registration deadline, including tabling at events and helping to register voters in your dorm.

Please come to the meeting even if you're already participating in our effort. We have a lot of new projects and different ways to get involved.

You can register to vote in White Plaza from now until Monday, October 20th.

October 1 - Debate watching party in the Axe & Palm Friday, October 3rd from 5:30 pm- 7:30 pm to see the Vice Presidential Debate! Free Sundaes from the Axe & Palm, courtesy of Students for Barack Obama, for the first 40 people who sign up to go to Nevada/Colorado/New Mexico!"

September 24 - In the event that the debate still happens (since that's a little uncertain at the moment), there will be a debate watching party at 5:30pm this Friday, September 26th in the Axe and Palm.

September 23 - Stanford Students for Obama and the Stanford Democrats will be holding our first joint meeting this Wednesday the 24th at 7pm in Rm. 260-113.

The Stanford Democrats will be discussing the massive, non-partisan voter registration drive that we’re spearheading, our issue campaign, and our Nevada trip in late October. Students for Obama will discuss their campaign plans and ways for you guys to get involved in the Bay Area and beyond. The meeting will be short so drop on by at 7pm and bring your friends!
